Bob Kwater has
served on the Board of Trustees for the Dayton Microcomputer
Association for a record 14 continuous years. In that time he has
served as President for five one-year terms, Vice-President for two
one-year terms, Past President three terms. He has served also
served as Chairman of Computerfest® (DMA's twice a year fund raising
computer show) three times, Program/Speaker Coordinator three times,
Media/Advertising Coordinator for seven years (13 shows), and
Newletter Editor for three years. Bob has been an advocate of User
Groups and been part of the APCUG annual meetings since 1992. He has
also guided several Roundtables at some of the past APCUG meetings.
He was a member of and Technology Advisor to the Ohio Governor's
Small Business Council (1993-95.) Within his church he has served as
Board Member and Missions Board Chair for five years. For the past
decade Bob has been manager of the local computer store for six
years, as well as Area Supervisor over 5 other stores. He has hosted
and co-hosted a radio technology show for the last 14 years along
being Circulation Manager and Writer for a local computer magazine
(the Midwest PC Review) Bob is also the Founder of the Ohio
Technology Access Project (DMA's very successful computer recycling
project that has to date distributed over 4000 systems back into the
community.) He is currently serving as Editor, Membership Director
of the Dayton Microcomputer Association. |
