I was
appointed to the Board of Directors in August of 2005 to fill a
vacant position. I worked in the registration area for the 2005
APCUG Annual Conference, and I am the Registration Chairperson for
the 2006 APCUG Annual Conference. I have been actively involved with
NEOPC, the North East Ohio PC Club, for over fifteen years, serving
as President, Vice President, SIG Leader, Board Member at Large,
APCUG Representative, and Editor of their award-winning newsletter.
I started working with desktop computer systems almost twenty-five
years ago, and have been working with Personal Computers and
Computer Networks ever since. I currently work for Key Bank as a
Network Infrastructure Engineer. In addition to this “weekday” job,
I teach a Networking Tract of seven classes that I developed
covering nine full Saturdays each semester at the Cleveland State
University Department of Continuing Education. I am also a Cisco
Certified Academy Instructor and Adjunct Faculty for Cisco classes
at two different county community colleges. I am a licensed
Professional Engineer (Electrical) and have these current
certifications: BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution
Designer) and NTS (Network Transport Systems) Specialist Cisco
Certified Design Professional, Network Professional, Academy
Instructor, and Wireless Support Specialist CompTIA Network+ and
Security+ Microsoft Certified Professional I have a Bachelors Degree
in Electrical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Engineering
Management.
