Ash Nallawalla

Ash Nallawalla has edited PC Update for over 12 years and is an honorary Life Member of the Melbourne PC User Group (Australia). He has encouraged many user groups to join APCUG. He helped to organize three Australasian user group summits in Sydney, involving nine regional groups. He recently consulted to RingCentral Inc and encouraged them to be an APCUG supporter and to start a user group program.

In APCUG he served on the Board of User Group Advisors during 1990-93 (Chairman in 1993), and on the Board of Directors during 1993-99 (Vice-President in 1997). He attended eight APCUG Summit meetings in Las Vegas, two strategic planning meetings in Dallas and Atlanta and two vendor retreats. He was an APCUG BBS sysop and later an Internet committee volunteer.

Ash has worked in management positions for Unisys, Hayes, Selectica, Macromedia and others. Presently a marketing consultant, he coauthored four books about an Australian Z80 PC. He helped PC Update win several Intergalactic Newsletter Contest awards and enjoys writing. His postgraduate qualifications include Computing. He has belonged to user groups since 1982 and served on their boards since 1988.
