After years watching Charlie go to Los Angeles Computer Society meetings, Charlotte joined LACS. That was her downfall. Like many of us she soon became a user group enthusiast. She was “pushed” to run for LACS President during the 2000 Southwest User Groups Conference by another LACS Director and has been LACS President since 2001. In 2004, in addition to her Presidency, she became editor of User Friendly, the LACS newsletter and in that role has become well-known among other editors as a columnist and fellow editor, exchanging articles and newsletters. She don’t spell too gud, but she’s a good communicator. In her “other life” Charlotte is a well-known dollmaker and restorer of antique dolls and can often be found on e-Bay. Charlotte has been an enthusiastic participant in SWUG Conference and APCUG Fall Meetings. Recently she has been serving APCUG as a member of the Benefits/Services committee. Now, she has offered herself as an APCUG BoD Advisor. | |
