Stu Silverman

My name is Stu Silverman, I have been involved with User Groups since the early ‘80’s. I began with a Commodore PET UG. My first computer was an 8k PET, boy have we progressed. I then became involved with the Long Island Macintosh CUG. I retired from school counseling after having been in education for 36 years and relocated to Florida nine years ago. I then started a User Group in my community, Valencia Lakes in Boynton Beach, Florida. After having been a UG member for many years, I located FACUG on the Internet. One of their Directors lived nearby and helped us organize our UG. My group has supported FACUG by having representatives at both their Fall and Spring Conferences. Three years ago, I was elected to the FACUG Board of Directors, and this past January to the APCUG Board of Advisors.
