WHAT we do
Project Description:
Each year the Prescott Computer Society awards an scholarship to a worthy
student at Yavapai College to assist with the expenses of attending the College.
To be eligible the student has to have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher,
be interested in computers and have a financial need. The student for the
scholarship is selected by the Collage. IN addition to the basic stipend
awarded by the Prescott Computer Society we also solicit individual members
contributions to increase the scholarship amount. So far we have awarded such
scholarships to two student in 2003 and 2004. We plan to continue this
scholarship program in the foreseeable future.
How we will use award money:
We would increase the scholarship amount awarded to the students.
