Project Description:
The Prescott Computer Society (PCS) has created a Special Interest Group (SIG) entitled Computer Basics. While this course is certainly available to its some 130 members, it's primary purpose is to provide an introduction to using a Personal Computer for the members of the Prescott community. Over the last several months we have been providing free monthly courses covering various subjects including understanding software and hardware, an introduciton to WindowsXP, how to work with programs, etc. For details please see: http://prescottcomputersociety.org/html/computerbasics.html

How we will use award money:
The PCS is a non-profit organization. Our sole purpose is to provide assistance to our members and the public on personal computer usage. Any award winnings would be used to further enhance the benefits we will continue to provide.
